Team905 Put Up Strong Results at Frostbike MTB Race

This past weekend two of Team905 riders participated in the Shorthill Cycling Club annual Frostbike MTB Race.

Steve Deboer at the "Hood"
The race is located in Port Colborne ON, in an area local MTBr's call the "Hood". It is a section of land located by the old Robin Hood flour factory, which has a network of trails that have been developed by the Shorthill Cycling Club Trail Development group. This course tests early season bike handling and fitness.

This MTB race has a unique format. Every two to three minutes a group of 3 to 5 racers are sent off in a beat the clock race. Each rider has a chance to ride the course twice with the best time of the two rides counting for the overall results.

In the end Jon Toews finished with the best time in the age category 30-39 and Steve Deboer finished in second in the same category. These two times also put Jon and Steve in 2nd and 3rd place spots overall.

Congratulations to Jon and Steve for a great race and result.

Next race for the team is Tour of Pelham
